Dark Knight Rises and more High fidelity

This weekend I went to see the Dark Knight rises with some old friends. With all the controversy following its midnight premier, I was surprised by the amount of lighthearted moments in the movie. Granted the film is still very dark, but compared to The Dark Knight, This film seems far less chilling. Following the movie I decided to come home a catch up on my reading. As I said before I'm currently reading high Fidelity by Nick Hornby. I must say that it's probably the best book I've read all year. It's honest, funny, and very clever. I look forward to finishing the book so I can finally watch the movie on VHS. Hopefully, John Cusack will make a very convincing Rob Gordon.

Saturday

My weekend, all started with waking up at 7:15am to be at work at 8am. Even though I was extremely tired from the night before, I then had to play a football game at 7pm. My game was held in Hyattsville, MD at the home field of the Rams. During the game my team picked up a safety in the end zone, which put us up by 2 and gave us the ball back. At halftime the score was 6 to 2 and the opposing team couldn't turn on the field's lights which made the referees call the game.

All Sport Weekend

I had an exciting and sweaty weekend. My family and I had the opportunity to attended a Nationals baseball game and the Citi Open final tennis tournament. We had a awesome time. On friday Nationals played a double header game. They played against the Miami Marlins. It was a great game, the Nationals won the first game 4 - 7, but lost the second game 5 -2. Baseball has always been my favorite sport, and we had the opportunity to see and support some players from Venezuela. However sunday wasn't less exciting than Friday, we went to the Citi open final (tennis tournament in DC), it was good. the players showed their great strength and quality. Alexandr Dolgopolov Ukrainian downed the German Tommy Haas for 7-6, 9-7, 4-6, 6-1. I really enjoyed my weekend with my family

Weekend #4

Hello Everyone!

My weekend has been very busy! On Friday, My best friend and I took a day trip to Ocean City, MD. It was so nice to escape for a little while, and just relax. Then on Saturday, I worked all day. Unfortunately, on Sunday i did not feel well, so i called out of work and then slept all day.

Last weekend!!!

Hello guys!!!

I finally got some free time this weekend. I went to theater  to watch Total Recall. It was so amazing  and interesting in. It made think if in the future people will have to fight to survive. I liked the technology in the future. Oh well, I loved the movie. I will recommend it.

By the way, this will be our last week together.  It has been so nice to be with all you guys, and I'm sure I'll miss you guys and Prof. Decker.

Good luck for all of us in this final week. Now, I'm going to work on my cover letter.

Weekend #4

Hello Everybody,

On Friday I worked 9 to 5 and received a new work t-shirt. After work I went out for an afternoon run with my younger brother. Later that evening, I stayed home, cuddle with my dog on the couch, and watched Netflix all night.

On Saturday I had a lot of things going on. First, my friends and I went to Montgomery Mall to do some shopping. I ended up treating myself to a new Michael Kors wallet. We literally spent more than an hour in the store because we simply couldn't decide what we wanted to buy. Later that day we went to my boyfriend's football game in Hyattsville. During the game it started to get dark and once it was halftime the other team couldn't turn on their field lights for the game to continue. We waited there for an hour for the lights to come on. After waiting for an hour the refs cancelled the game. We later spent the rest of the night at my best friend's house.

On Sunday, my older brother stopped by and gave me a small gift from Myrtle Beach. You can barley see it in the picture but the rock has beautiful crystals in it. For the rest of my Sunday, I spent the day doing laundry and some homework.

Weekend # 4

This weekend, I finally got to see the batman movie, "Dark Knight Rises". It's pretty amazing, interesting, and worth the whole almost 3 hours of watch time. I also took the time to clean, organize, and fix my room; so it looks nicer than ever.
Saturday noon, we took my boyfriend's nephew fishing, since he is just visiting from North Carolina.
Found a new spot and just let the little boy enjoy his day even thought it was hot and really humid outside.

For that night we went out to see "The Dark Knight Rises", pretty good movie. It was more than what i expected, awesome cast of actors, breath-taking scenes, and great story plot! I can say that despite of the things that needs to get done, i had a relaxing weekend for sure.
